Hey, I grew up here but left for a while. It's a a small town city with about 7,287 people. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Has anyone dealt with this? Cheers. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I work in government here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. Definitely worth checking out..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.
I've been here 11 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is challenging.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the Riverside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
