Relocating to Washougal, WA -pros and cons?

Curious what people think. Just moved here 14 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Washougal sits at 147.2 per 100K. Median household income is $100,916, which feels pretty solid for the area. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cost of living, then yeah this place is great. But if school system matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 13 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the Oak Park side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
