Remote worker thinking about Wasilla

Hey everyone, With a population of 9,435, Wasilla is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Wasilla sits at 439.8 per 100K. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Let me know your thoughts. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 6 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the South side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
