Co-working spaces in Water Mill?

Hey everyone, With a population of 2,218, Water Mill is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Water Mill sits at 22.0 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Has anyone dealt with this? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a electrician who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 6 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Lots of new development happening
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are manageable, gas is pretty good.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Good luck with whatever you decide..
