What's it really like living in Water Valley?

Hey, I'm originally from Houston and Crime rate is something to consider -Water Valley sits at 362.1 per 100K. It's a a small town city with about 3,380 people. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Worth the trade-offs? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 10 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is public transit. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the pet-friendliness is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Eastside side vs the Downtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
