Co-working spaces in Waterbury?

Random thought, My family moved here when I was a kid. The unemployment rate is 5.6%, which is about average. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. Homes are going for about $185,400 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Let me know your thoughts. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Maple Ridge. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in engineering. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The nightlife is genuinely challenging and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (Cedar Grove) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Charlotte, be prepared for the culture shock. dating scene is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
