Is Waterbury getting better or worse?

Poverty rate is 20.3%, which is higher than I expected. Household incomes average around $51,642 in Waterbury. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's not perfect but it works for me. The only thing I'd watch out for is housing market. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..
