Is Waterbury worth it salary-wise?

Anyone else feel this way? Military spouse here. The median home value here is around $185,400, which is actually reasonable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. What do you all think? Appreciate any input.

I work in healthcare here and it exceeded my expectations. The job market for my field is better than expected. No regrets on my end..
