Is Waterbury getting better or worse?

I'm originally from Las Vegas and The median home value here is around $332,900, which seems about average. You can expect to pay around $984 for rent here. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Has anyone dealt with this? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

The food scene here is challenging. Tons of great Italian places. it was the best decision I ever made.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want public transit, then yeah this place is great. But if cost of living matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
