OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Eastside. It's challenging for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in marketing. If you're in education you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like BBQ.
Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've been living here for 14 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The school system is excellent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
