It's a a small town city with about 10,285 people. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Thoughts? Thanks for reading. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a social worker who relocated here from Charlotte about 8 years ago. The main reasons were weather and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Active local events and festivals
- Close to major attractions
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is tough.
Socially, I love the pace of life here. Good luck with whatever you decide..
