Commute times in Watsonville -how bad?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and The median home value here is around $657,700, which is pretty steep. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Has anyone dealt with this?

Came here for retirement and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The housing market is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
