Grocery stores in Watsonville -recommendations?

Longtime lurker here, I'm a teacher here and The median home value here is around $657,700, which is pretty steep. Crime rate is something to consider -Watsonville sits at 604.5 per 100K. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are decent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've been living here for 1 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The school system is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from Seattle about 1 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good internet infrastructure
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are affordable, gas is excellent.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
