Anyone else love living in Waukee?

Hello, With a population of 26,974, Waukee is a smaller city. Rent is about $1,290/month for a decent place. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Would love some local perspective.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Bought a house here in 2017 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
