Grocery stores in Waukee -recommendations?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a 54-year-old accountant and You can expect to pay around $1,290 for rent here. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Thoughts? Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 5 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.

I've been living here for 5 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The safety is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
