OK so Crime rate is something to consider -Waukegan sits at 382.6 per 100K. Median household income is $70,578, which feels about average for the area. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
