Hello, Military spouse here. The unemployment rate is 1.4%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $307,600, which seems about average. With a population of 47,718, Wauwatosa is a smaller city. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I wrong here? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
