Unpopular opinion about Wauwatosa

First post here. We're a young couple and Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. It's a a smaller city city with about 47,718 people. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Does this match your experience? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Cedar Grove. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in real estate. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 10 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
