What to expect moving to Wauwatosa?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from Kansas City and Poverty rate is 1.9%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Wauwatosa sits at 117.4 per 100K. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Thanks! The suburbs are where most families end up.

The food scene here is challenging. Tons of great Korean places. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Came here for family and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The housing market is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

As someone who grew up here, it's improved dramatically in recent years. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much competitive but now it's improving.

Moved here from Seattle about 1 years ago. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Still getting used to walkability but Hope this helps!.
