Moving to Waycross with kids -good idea?

Longtime lurker here, Poverty rate is 30.0%, which is higher than I expected. Crime rate is something to consider -Waycross sits at 466.5 per 100K. Median household income is $37,398, which feels on the lower side for the area. The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
