Planning a move to Waycross -neighborhoods?

My partner and I are Any advice would be great. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I've been living here for 7 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The community vibe is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

Used to live on the South side, now on the East side. Completely different vibe. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. the quality of life is solid.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in The Heights. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in real estate. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
