Grocery stores in Wayne -recommendations?

So, I'm a teacher here and It's a a small town city with about 6,055 people. Homes are going for about $198,600 on average. Rent is about $707/month for a decent place. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Does this match your experience? The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Midtown. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in finance. If you're in consulting you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
