Starting a business in Weatherford?

Hey, We're a young couple and The unemployment rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 12,014 people. You can expect to pay around $763 for rent here. Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Does this match your experience? Thanks in advance! Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Bought a house here in 2017 and it exceeded my expectations. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 9 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the food scene is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
