Is public transit usable in Weatherford?
Just moved here 15 months ago and Rent is about $1,474/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 8.0%, which is pretty low. With a population of 33,924, Weatherford is a smaller city. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Appreciate any input. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
