Anyone work in healthcare in Webster Groves?

OK so I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Household incomes average around $110,716 in Webster Groves. Rent is about $1,628/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Worth the trade-offs? The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, Hope this helps!.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in South. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in retail. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
