Biggest downsides of living in Wekiwa Springs?

Hello, I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $1,914/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $1,914 for rent here. The median home value here is around $429,600, which is pretty steep. With a population of 24,109, Wekiwa Springs is a small town. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What do you all think? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is weather. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I've lived in Springfield for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good internet infrastructure
- The community vibe scene is decent

The downsides:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for families. Happy to answer more specific questions..
