Anyone else love living in Wellesley?

My partner and I are You can expect to pay around $2,849 for rent here. Median household income is $250,001, which feels pretty solid for the area. The unemployment rate is 2.0%, which is pretty low. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Fairview. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in finance. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like seafood.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
