Best coffee shops in Wellington?

Been meaning to ask this. I relocated for work and It's a a smaller city city with about 61,497 people. Household incomes average around $110,294 in Wellington. Crime rate is something to consider -Wellington sits at 98.0 per 100K. With a population of 61,497, Wellington is a smaller city. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Anyone in a similar situation? Appreciate any input. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a pharmacist, 30, moved here 7 years ago from Atlanta. I've lived in Pine Hills and Old Town, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Cost of living is very reasonable
2. Decent public transit for the size
3. Lots of family-friendly activities
4. The people are generally pretty good - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Winters are long and cold
2. Dating scene is rough
3. The community vibe situation is stable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Pine Hills: Great for young professionals. tough vibes, walkable.
- Old Town: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Atlanta, everything felt pretty good. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are stable. Gas is wild. You can live comfortably on $70K-$120K here.

**Final verdict:**
It's not for everyone but it works for us.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much reasonable but now it's challenging.

Came here for weather and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The job market is honestly surprisingly good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
