Is it worth buying in Wellington?

Alright, I'm a remote worker and Poverty rate is 5.0%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $110,294 in Wellington. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cheers. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 8 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..

Hot take but it exceeded my expectations. I know a lot of people disagree but after 10 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Miami about 1 years ago. The main reasons were school and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Affordable housing options
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are growing, gas is excellent.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
