Is Wellington still affordable?

I grew up here but left for a while. With a population of 61,497, Wellington is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $557,100 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Am I wrong here?

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I love the pace of life here. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want weather, then yeah this place is great. But if outdoor recreation matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to San Francisco it's pretty good.

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Midtown area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.
