Unpopular opinion about Wellington

So, Crime rate is something to consider -Wellington sits at 98.0 per 100K. The median home value here is around $557,100, which is pretty steep. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Does this match your experience? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say I love the pace of life here. The job market is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 2 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
