Is Weslaco a good place to live?

Curious what people think. The median home value here is around $119,200, which is actually reasonable. Homes are going for about $119,200 on average. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Any advice would be great. Thanks! Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Eastside area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.
