Weslaco in the winter -how bad?

We're a young couple and Average temperature is around 75--F, so it's warm year-round. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Has anyone dealt with this? The city has invested a lot in new development.

I work in real estate here and I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market for my field is challenging. No regrets on my end..
