Alright, Average temperature is around 72--F, so it's warm year-round. Any advice would be great.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Houston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Sunset. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in education. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The nightlife is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Hot take but it's exactly what I was looking for. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in South for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- The job market scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for families. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Came here for retirement and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The traffic is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
