Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

As someone who grew up here, I love the pace of life here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much pricey but now it's hit or miss.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Downtown. It's underrated for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in real estate. If you're in real estate you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Asian.
Would recommend to anyone considering it..
