Anyone work in healthcare in West Allis?

First post here. I grew up here but left for a while. Average temperature is around 49--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 7.0%, which is pretty low. With a population of 59,588, West Allis is a smaller city. It's a a smaller city city with about 59,588 people. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What neighborhoods would you suggest? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 10 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is hit or miss.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Downtown side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
