Cheapest neighborhoods in West Babylon?

Hi all, With a population of 43,239, West Babylon is a smaller city. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 13 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

My experience has been mostly positive. I'm still on the fence after all this time. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Used to live on the Springfield side, now on the West side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value healthcare, you'll love it. The job market is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found I love the pace of life here. My neighborhood (Fairview) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Phoenix, be prepared for the culture shock. housing market is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The cost of living is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.

The food scene here is improving. Tons of great Vietnamese places. I'm still on the fence after all this time.
