Curious what people think. We're a young couple and With a population of 31,722, West Bend is a smaller city. Median household income is $75,043, which feels about average for the area. The median home value here is around $244,500, which is actually reasonable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
