West Bend is underrated, change my mind

Curious what people think. We're a young couple and With a population of 31,722, West Bend is a smaller city. Median household income is $75,043, which feels about average for the area. The median home value here is around $244,500, which is actually reasonable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Let me know your thoughts. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
