Curious what people think. I'm single, late 20s, and It's a a small town city with about 21,909 people. The suburbs are where most families end up. Thanks! Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a accountant who relocated here from Dallas about 10 years ago. The main reasons were weather and quality of life.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Strong job market in several industries
- Four distinct seasons
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are stable, gas is decent.
Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've lived in Greenfield for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Phoenix, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Active local events and festivals
- The walkability scene is solid
The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
