Not sure if this has been asked before, but It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Has anyone dealt with this?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Westside. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Asian.

No regrets on my end..

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is outdoor recreation. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

The food scene here is excellent. Tons of great Mexican places. I'm still on the fence after all this time.
