Best neighborhoods in West Covina

Curious what people think. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and It's a a mid-size city city with about 107K people. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Am I overthinking this? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a contractor who relocated here from Boston about 6 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Decent public transit for the size
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are pricey, gas is tough.

Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've been living here for 14 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The community vibe is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
