Best neighborhoods to rent in West Covina?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Rent is about $2,153/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 7.7%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $2,153 for rent here. The median home value here is around $712,300, which is pretty steep. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any advice would be great. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I'm a marketing manager and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is solid and there's always something going on.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Tampa about 8 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good healthcare facilities
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are developing, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
