Working remotely from West Covina — my experience

I've been working remotely from West Covina for 9 years now. Here's my take:

The pace of life here is perfect for remote work. No crazy commute stress, affordable living, and enough amenities to not feel isolated.

Cost of living: a bit high but manageable
Internet: Decent, getting better with new providers
Coworking spaces: Limited but the library works in a pinch

If you're looking for a place to WFH, West Covina is underrated for remote workers.

The job market has been improving lately. Several manufacturing companies moved in recently.

I work in finance and finding a job wasn't hard. Took about 6 months.

For families, I'd recommend looking at Pine Grove. Schools are rated well and it's quiet.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.

Check out the Pine Grove area. Way more affordable and still close to everything.

Don't sleep on Riverside. It's up and coming and still affordable.

As someone who moved here from Atlanta, I can confirm most of this. The weather surprised me the most.

Totally agree with this. I've been here 4 years and my experience is very similar.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.
