Bought a house here in 2015 and the quality of life is solid. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in South. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in finance. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like BBQ.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
