Is it worth buying in West Des Moines?
Anyone else feel this way? I'm originally from Pittsburgh and Median household income is $84,925, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a smaller city city with about 69,893 people. You can expect to pay around $1,194 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Let me know your thoughts. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
