Thinking about relocating to West Fargo from Boston

Not sure if this has been asked before, but It's a a smaller city city with about 39,325 people. You can expect to pay around $1,075 for rent here. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to Nashville it's hit or miss.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Houston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Downtown. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Old Town. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in construction. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Thai.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
