Alright, Been living here since 2021. Crime rate is something to consider -West Hartford sits at 57.3 per 100K. Poverty rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 2.5%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $391,200 on average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Has anyone dealt with this? The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to.
