Why I chose West Haven over bigger cities
Random thought, I'm a teacher here and With a population of 19,977, West Haven is a small town. Homes are going for about $511,200 on average. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

- Strong sense of community

- Traffic can be terrible
- Rising rent prices
- Boring for young people
What are your go-to spots? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development.
