Pros and cons of West Haverstraw after 15 years

I'm a remote worker and With a population of 10,663, West Haverstraw is a small town. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Am I wrong here?

Used to live on the Sunset side, now on the Old Town side. Completely different vibe. it's been a really good experience overall.
