Anyone else feel this way? I'm retired and The unemployment rate is 5.4%, which is about average. With a population of 5,156, West Hazleton is a small town. It's a a small town city with about 5,156 people. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Would love some local perspective. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

I'm a HR manager and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

I'm a HR manager and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is solid and there's always something going on.

Hot take but I have mixed feelings honestly. I know a lot of people disagree but after 7 years here, that's my honest assessment.
